Save the Date Events was founded by Madyson Kovatch, with the idea that weddings and events should always be done with intense passion and understanding for what the clients desires are. We pride ourselves on the fact that we consider your vision to be the most important part of what we do! We take our years of experience and implement them into a master plan for your special day that is a perfect reflection of the love and passion you have for each other. We only employee people who LOVE weddings and events. It is important that when we show up, we WANT to be at your event. Weddings aren’t like any other job, you only get one shot at getting it right! We have a strong belief that a seamless event can only be executed by passionate planners that share your vision and are dedicated to implementing it.

Save the Date Events is based out of Jacksonville, FL but is available for travel.

How we got our name…

We had been doing event planning and design for years as an add on service through a DJ company that we work closely with. When we decided to open it as an independent business, we were struggling with what to name the company. I was at a wedding when a bride came up to me and said “I cannot even begin to describe how you saved my day”! I knew right then what I wanted to name it! Yes, it is a little play on words “save the date”, a commonly used invitation term, but we love it and it fits us!
